2. YouTube API Services & Google User Data
ByCuts uses YouTube API Services to allow users to fetch video content, upload generated clips, and schedule posts directly to their YouTube channels.
- By using ByCuts’s YouTube integration, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

- Access & Storage: We only request YouTube API OAuth scopes necessary to upload videos and manage video metadata on your behalf (`youtube.upload`, `youtube.force-ssl`). We store authorization tokens securely to maintain your channel connectivity.
- Data Revocation: You can revoke ByCuts’s access to your Google account at any time via the Google Security Settings page.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in the following ways:
- To process video URLs, generate transcriptions, create AI clips, and burn subtitles.
- To publish or schedule authorized clips directly to your connected social channels (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
- To maintain and improve the performance and security of our services.
- To communicate account updates, transactional receipts, or system status.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers (such as Cloud infrastructure, payment processors, and official social media APIs) necessary to deliver our core product functionality.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your access tokens and personal information. OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are encrypted in transit and at rest. Temporary processing files are automatically purged from our servers periodically.
